motherEarth international
A ThisEgg project created by teams across the world.
This all used to sit nicely on its own (professionally designed) website, but... you know... costs... and carbon footprints... so, here are parts of the project that is motherEarth international.

motherEarth international is a dance film and a podcast series responding to the climate and ecological crisis bringing together artists from the UK, Ukraine, Taiwan, Brazil, Argentina, India, Mexico, Indonesia and Denmark.
It is 2022.
UK. The hottest year on record.
Taiwan. The coastline is eroding.
Ukraine. The landscape is being destroyed by war.
Brazil. Endless consumerism is suffocating nature.
Argentina. The land is being mined for oil.
India. Soil is dying.
Mexico. The clean water is being extracted by corporations.
Indonesia. The trees are being hacked down.
Pohon-pohon ditebang tanpa perencanaan.
Denmark. Nothing grows where the coal was dumped.
Intet vokser, hvor kullet blev dumpet.
This is not a drill.
Better Late Than Never
A short dance film that edits together footage of choreography and compositions from all 9 countries. The above is a trailer for that.
There are also 9 individual short dance films.
If you'd like to see any of the above with or without audio description, please get in touch.
What's Mine is Yours
A series of short audio pieces about the climate crisis. Each episode focuses on one person in one country. They describe where they live and how it has changed, or how it is changing. They talk to us about their emergency. They also tell us about what keeps them hopeful.
The above is a trailer for that.
If you'd like to read transcriptions of or explore graphic recordings of any of the episodes, please get in touch.
