Josie and Izzy are making a show about Lucy and Rosie. Lucy and Rosie are cousins. They haven’t seen each other since their mothers, Jill and Susan, fell out 16 years ago. Following their grandmother’s dying wishes, they resurrect a childhood play and perform it at her funeral in the hope that it will make them forget their differences.
Two young actors discovered a truth in the rehearsal room that they want to share. It’s messy, tangled and shambolic. It’s complicated.
What the press said:
“Dale-Jones and Della-Porta have such an effusive, inclusive presence that you'll have no trouble sharing their youthful passion for the power of the theatre... They have easily achieved their goal.”
“This theatre company is definitely one to keep an eye on. With a freshness of wit that bears resemblance to the early French and Saunders, do not be surprised if you see them appearing on your TV screens in the very near future.”
“A tightly put-together hour's entertainment that will almost certainly make you laugh and might even make you think.”
“Original and charming.”
